Nell Frizzell is an unlikely wild swimmer, due to her fear of deep water and the depths of her imagination, thinking that just under the waves of the sea is a set of jaws ready to snap her up, or that the weeds in a river are like ghostly fingers ready to bring her under.
So it in encouraging to think that even with these fears, she wholly advocates getting out in the open water, to help reinvigorate the body and mind and reconnect with nature. You needn't have to swim the channel either. We often stop for a quick swim in the sea in Brighton, on our way to or from work, and just five minutes can rejuvenate you completely.
